Printing process

All of our images are printed on very high quality media using high grade ultrachrome K3 inks. We use the finest materials, printers and inks and take great care in ensuring that each image meets exceptionally high standards of quality.

Canvas Prints

Canvas images are printed on high quality pure cotton canvas and are finished with multiple coats of giclée varnish to preserve and enhance the picture. The resulting image has a deep lustre and textured finish.

All frames are made on site with quality profiled stretcher bars specially designed for canvas prints.

The images are either "Gallery wrapped" or "Museum Wrapped".

Gallery wrapped canvas

The canvas print is wrapped around the frame and stapled on the back. The back is finished with sealing tape. Wall hangers are fitted making the print ready to hang, flush to the wall, with standard picture hooks. The integrated hangers include a sawtooth making it easy to adjust the positioning of the picture horizontally to align the picture or to adjust the spacing of triptychs.

With gallery wrapped canvas, the image continues around each side of the picture for a contemporary look.

Museum wrapped canvas

Museum wrapped canvas prints are similar to the gallery wrapped canvas prints described above, but with coloured edges. The print is flush to the front face of the canvas, with a complentary colour to the image on each edge.

Somerset velvet fine art paper prints

Somerset velvet is a high quality enhanced fine art paper with a beautiful surface texture. 255gsm 100% cotton, acid free.
